I always try to get the kids out of the house - movies, theme parks, Dave & Buster's, SkyZone. But when they want to stay in I will bring arts and crafts or other things to keep them off their video games.
This book is really cute - get them to fill it out in elementary school, then again in middle school - then store it away. You can re-gift it in 30 years and have a laugh.
Plus the author is "Best Aunt Ever" so you can pretend you wrote it!
